Ready for planting

I decided to try out turnips this year. So planted the seeds in a tray and very soon there was a mass of seedlings germinated. As soon as they were big enough to be handled I transferred them into bigger deeper trays. There were so many plants !

I even had a few plants to give away.

Now to get the pumpkins and the squashes in the soil.

Lots of hard digging

 

Strawberries seem to have taken over. To protect them this year I am going to net them.

Turnips have taken root and the plants are looking good. There will be lots of turnips.
